Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What date is the event in 2018?
A: October 7th 2018. – it’s a Sunday.

Q: Team Registration Fees?
A: All registration fees shown are per person.

Q: How far is the Water Works Ultra?
A: There are two distances 50km or 100km Ultra Marathon.

Q: Do you need to be an Ultra Runner or mega fit to run?
A: NO – whilst you can do the ultra run individual you are also able to participate in the 100km or 50km as a team. So anyone can get involved.

Q: Where are the toilets located?
A: Toilets are located 100 metres from the start/finish area.

Q: Where are the water stations?
A: There will be one aid station on the course. This is at the start/ finish. If in the case of extreme heat, there may be more water stops allocated onto the course at the Race Directors discretion.

Q: When do registrations close?
A: 1 week prior to the event.

Q: Can I register on the day?
A: Yes.

Q: Are there parking facilities available?
A: Yes. Free parking is available at Walka Water Works

Q: Is it possible to obtain a refund?
A: Refund of 50% up until 61 days from the event. 60 days or less til event day – no refund.

Q: Can I transfer my entry to someone else?
A: Yes. You can transfer to another runner. The cost to transfer is just $20 and will need to be paid on the day. To transfer the new runner will need to be at registration at least 20 mins prior to the event starting.

Q: Can i change distances?
A: YES! You do this on the day – a $10 fee will be charged to change down and the difference will be charged to change up. Please arrive 20 minutes early to do a transfer form.
